Dofetilide Side Effects Report #4851853-4
Dofetilide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 14, 2005. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 172.0 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Dofetilide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , stomach discomfort, tachycardia. Dofetilide dosage: 0.25 MG (0.125 MG, TWICE DAILY). During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, TERAZOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE, DYAZIDE, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, NAPROXEN, VITAMINS, GLUCOSAMINE. Patient recovered.

Dofetilide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Apr 27, 2007. Male patient, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with arrhythmia  and was treated with Dofetilide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute left ventricular failure, arrhythmia , atrial fibrillation , atrial flutter, chest pain , condition aggravated, osteonecrosis , pulmonary congestion, pulmonary oedema. Dofetilide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, WARFARIN, LAMOTRIGINE, TEMAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/08/2007.
