Dofetilide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 14, 2005. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 172.0 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation and was treated with Dofetilide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia, stomach discomfort, tachycardia. Dofetilide dosage: 0.25 MG (0.125 MG, TWICE DAILY). During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, TERAZOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE, DYAZIDE, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, NAPROXEN, VITAMINS, GLUCOSAMINE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia and was treated with Dofetilide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute left ventricular failure, arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, chest pain What is  chest pain, condition aggravated, osteonecrosis What is  osteonecrosis, pulmonary congestion, pulmonary oedema. Dofetilide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, WARFARIN, LAMOTRIGINE, TEMAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/08/2007.
