Docusate side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CANADA on Sept 28, 2006. Male patient, 89 years of age, was diagnosed with constipation What is  constipation and was treated with Docusate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysphagia, dysphonia, odynophagia, pneumonia aspiration, throat irritation. Docusate dosage: 200 MG (100 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
