Male patient, 51 years of age, weighting 193.0 lb, was diagnosed with schizophrenia, paranoid type and was treated with Divalproex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cellulitis , erythema, frostbite, refusal of treatment by patient, thrombocytopenia. Divalproex dosage: 1000 MG AT BEDTIME PO. Patient recovered.
