Divalproex side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 23, 2005. Male patient, 17 years of age, was diagnosed with psychomotor hyperactivity, mania, psychiatric symptom and was treated with Divalproex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, catatonia, delusion, depressed level of consciousness, electroencephalogram abnormal, heart rate increased, hypervigilance, muscle rigidity, mutism. Divalproex dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OLANZAPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
