Divalproex side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on June 21, 2005. Male patient, 56 years of age, weighting 240.5 lb, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Divalproex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, coordination abnormal, sleep apnoea syndrome, somnolence. Divalproex dosage: 1000MG, QHS, PO. During the same period patient was treated with LORAZEPAM, QUETIAPINE FUMARATE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ammonia increased, coordination abnormal, dysarthria, hepatic encephalopathy. Divalproex dosage: 250 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with BENZTROPINE MESYLATE, HALOPERIDOL, OMEPRAZOLE, DOCUSATE, HALOPERIDOL DECANOATE, TRAZODONE, IBUPROFEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
