Disulfiram side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 19, 2006. Female patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with alcoholism  and was treated with Disulfiram. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, alcohol use, alcoholism , anxiety , cerebral disorder, communication disorder, confusional state, decreased appetite, delirium. Disulfiram dosage: 250 MG/DAY. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Disulfiram side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 05, 2009. Male patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with alcoholism  and was treated with Disulfiram. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol use, flushing, hypotension, nausea , tachycardia, treatment noncompliance. Disulfiram dosage: 500 MG HS PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Disulfiram side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 07, 2008. Male patient, 33 years of age, was treated with Disulfiram. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol use, cardiac arrest , completed suicide, respiratory arrest. Disulfiram dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ETHANOL. Patient died.
