Female patient, 14 years of age, weighting 119.0 lb, was diagnosed with bleeding time prolonged, blood pressure increased, brain oedema, cerebral vasoconstriction, hypotonia, induction of anaesthesia, infection prophylaxis and was treated with Diprivan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, body temperature decreased, delayed recovery from anaesthesia, depressed level of consciousness, hepatic trauma, hyperkalaemia, hypoperfusion, liver disorder.
