Diphenhydramine Side Effects Report #5851462-4
Diphenhydramine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Aug 12, 2008. Female patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with insomnia, depression , schizophrenia and was treated with Diphenhydramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, convulsion, dependence, insomnia, loss of consciousness, memory impairment, withdrawal syndrome. Diphenhydramine dosage: 50-1500 MG A DAY INITIATED APPROXIMATELY 5 YEARS EARLIER. During the same period patient was treated with LORAZEPAM, TEMAZEPAM, VENLAFAXINE, OLANZAPINE, FLUPENTIXOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
