Male patient, child 4 years of age, weighting 53.04 lb, was diagnosed with cough, nasopharyngitis and was treated with Dimetapp. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: body temperature decreased. Dimetapp dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIMETAPP COLD AND ALLERGY. Patient recovered.

Female patient, child 11 years of age, was treated with Dimetapp. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, anxiety disorder, apnoea, body temperature decreased, brain herniation, cerebral haemorrhage, coma, fear, haemorrhage intracranial. Dimetapp dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ROTIBUSSIN CF, TRIAMINIC SRT. Patient died on 10/27/1999.
