Diltiazem side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SWITZERLAND on Aug 08, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , atrial flutter and was treated with Diltiazem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block, bile duct stone, blood creatinine increased, blood magnesium increased, bradycardia, cardiac arrest , cardiac failure. Diltiazem dosage: (120 MG BID ORAL), (60 MG BID ORAL). During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN, VANCOMYCIN, NEXIUM IV, ASPIRIN, ENOXAPARIN. Patient recovered.
