Dilaudid side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Sept 29, 2004. Female patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with post procedural pain and was treated with Dilaudid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anoxia, cyanosis, loss of consciousness, vital functions abnormal. Dilaudid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KETOROLAC TROMETHAMINE, ONDANSETRON HYDROCHLORIDE, DIPHENHYDRAMINE. Patient died on 08/28/2004.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cyanosis, depressed level of consciousness, oxygen saturation decreased. Dilaudid dosage: 2-4 MG Q 4 HOURS PRN PAIN IV. During the same period patient was treated with BUSPAR, TRAZODONE, SINGULAIR, INDERAL, ALBUTEROL, LOPID, VYTORIN, PROTONIX. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with LORAZEPAM, ATROPINE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, SALBUTAMOL, OXYGEN. Patient died.

Dilaudid dosage: 0.5 MG, 1 IN 1 HR, SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with LORAZEPAM, ATROPINE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, SALBUTAMOL, OXYGEN. Patient died.
