Digitoxin Side Effects Report #4846822-4
Digitoxin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NORWAY on Nov 25, 2005. Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with pulmonary oedema, thrombosis prophylaxis, alcoholism
and was treated with Digitoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, c-reactive protein increased, cardiomegaly, cognitive deterioration, crepitations, dehydration, dementia
, dilatation ventricular, ejection fraction decreased. Digitoxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, SOMAC, DETROL, TEGRETOL, HEMINEVRIN, ALBYL, SELOZOK. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
