Didanosine and chest pain Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Didanosine Side Effects Report #4706285-6
Didanosine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on July 01, 2005. Male patient, 31 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv test positive  and was treated with Didanosine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , chest pain , hypertriglyceridaemia, loss of consciousness, oesophagitis, smoker. Didanosine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with INDINAVIR SULPHATE, RITONAVIR, ABACAVIR SULPHATE, BUPRENORPHINE, FLUCONAZOLE, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient died on 10/03/2000.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, chest pain , chills, cholestasis, decreased appetite, dyspnoea exertional, fanconi syndrome, hepatic failure, hepatic steatosis. Didanosine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, KALETRA, CARISOPRODOL, FENTANYL, FLUCONAZOLE, GLYBURIDE, PROMETHAZINE, RABEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , haemodialysis, pancreatitis. Didanosine dosage: 125 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with STAVUDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , chest pain , dialysis , post procedural complication, post procedural diarrhoea. Didanosine dosage: 125 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with STAVUDINE, ATOVAQUONE, DIALYVITE, FELODIPINE, LOPINAVIR, OMEPRAZOLE, PREDNISONE, GABAPENTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
