Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with post procedural complication and was treated with Diazepam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, post procedural complication, psychomotor hyperactivity, psychotic disorder , pulmonary embolism . Diazepam dosage: 2.5 MG;BID;IV. During the same period patient was treated with PAREGORIC LIQUID USP, ANEXATE, HALOPERIDOL, DORMICUM, ALDOMET, KETOGAN, MARCAIN WITH FENTANYL, DIGITOXIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
