After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: grand mal convulsion, myoclonic epilepsy, petit mal epilepsy, respiratory arrest, status epilepticus. Diastat dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TOPAMAX, PHENOBARBITAL, CLONAZEPAM, KEPPRA. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 17 years of age, weighting 85.00 lb, was diagnosed with convulsion and was treated with Diastat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: grand mal convulsion. Diastat dosage: 10 MG PRN RECTALLY. Patient recovered.
