Diastat side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 26, 2007. Male patient, child 4 years of age, weighting 38.00 lb, was diagnosed with convulsion and was treated with Diastat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, device leakage, medical device complication, therapeutic response delayed. Diastat dosage: 7.5 MG PRN RC. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: device leakage, device malfunction, incorrect dose administered. Diastat dosage: 5 MG PRN RECTAL. During the same period patient was treated with TRILEPTAL. Patient recovered.
