Diamox side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 15, 2005. Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 135.1 lb, was diagnosed with glaucoma  and was treated with Diamox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood disorder, condition aggravated, glaucoma , immune system disorder, influenza, white blood cell count decreased. Diamox dosage: 500 MG. During the same period patient was treated with NEPTAZANE, PILOCARPINE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with coordination abnormal, hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Diamox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bicarbonate decreased, carbon dioxide decreased, condition aggravated, coordination abnormal, depressed level of consciousness, dysarthria, hyperammonaemia, mental disorder, metabolic acidosis. Diamox dosage: 250 MG, QID. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN, BENDROFLUAZIDE, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
