Diamox side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 03, 2005. Female patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with intraocular pressure decreased, carotid artery occlusion and was treated with Diamox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arteriovenous malformation
, blood creatinine increased, blood magnesium decreased, blood potassium decreased, blood urea increased, confusional state, dehydration, duodenal ulcer, gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Diamox dosage: 500.00 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, COZAAR, TRIAMTERENE AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, CENTRUM, EQUATE ANTACID, SINGULAIR, PAXIL, LIPITOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
