Diamox side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on July 28, 2008. Male patient, 52 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with renal failure chronic and was treated with Diamox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aplasia pure red cell, cytomegalovirus antibody positive, epstein-barr virus antibody positive, parvovirus b19 serology positive, thrombocytopenia. Diamox dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ARANESP, ATENOLOL, BRIMONIDINE TARTRATE, CALCIC ATORVASTATINE, CALCIUM CARBONATE, FUROSEMIDE, IRBESARTAN, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
