Dextrose side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 28, 2008. Male patient, child 4 years of age, was diagnosed with dehydration and was treated with Dextrose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: central pontine myelinolysis, convulsion, cyanosis, hyponatraemia, pneumonia aspiration, respiratory arrest, unresponsive to stimuli. Dextrose dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: air embolism, cerebral infarction, cyanosis, livedo reticularis, pallor, tonic convulsion. Dextrose dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMPICILLIN, CHLORIDE. Patient recovered.
