Dextromethorphan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 13, 2008. Male patient, child 6 years of age, was treated with Dextromethorphan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, lethargy, mydriasis, serotonin syndrome. Dextromethorphan dosage: ESTIMATED AMOUNT INGESTED WAS 40 MG/KG. During the same period patient was treated with SERTRALINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
