Dextromethorphan side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from HONG KONG on Apr 02, 2007. Male patient, 29 years of age, was diagnosed with influenza like illness, abdominal pain upper and was treated with Dextromethorphan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, agitation, blood glucose increased, blood pressure increased, confusional state, diarrhoea, electrocardiogram qrs complex prolonged, electrocardiogram qt corrected interval prolonged, heart rate increased. Dextromethorphan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SENOKOT, PARACETAMOL, TRAMADOL, METOCLOPRAMIDE, MORPHINE SULPHATE, HYOSCINE HYT, MOTILIUM. Patient recovered.
