Dextran side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from POLAND on Jan 02, 2007. Male patient, child 11 years of age, weighting 116.8 lb, was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome and was treated with Dextran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , blood pressure decreased, breast discomfort, dyspnoea, flushing, respiratory rate decreased, tachycardia. Dextran dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, chest pain , dyspnoea, flushing, nausea . Dextran dosage: unknown. Patient died on 04/14/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , coronary artery disease , dyspnoea, flushing, nausea , refusal of treatment by patient. Dextran dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALPRAZOLAM, AMIODARONE, NADOLOL, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, FUROSEMIDE, LISINOPRIL, NICOTINIC ACID. Patient recovered.
