Dexmedetomidinee side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 04, 2008. Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 159.8 lb, was diagnosed with sedation and was treated with Dexmedetomidinee. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, aggression, agitation, encephalopathy, vascular dementia, wernicke's encephalopathy, wernicke-korsakoff syndrome. Dexmedetomidinee dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DEXMEDETOMIDINEECTION, AMLODIPINE, VALSARTAN, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
