Dexferrum side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Aug 13, 2004. Female patient, 24 years of age, weighting 188.0 lb, was diagnosed with iron deficiency and was treated with Dexferrum. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain
, chest discomfort, diarrhoea, dyspnoea, erythema. Dexferrum dosage: 500MG IV FIRST DOSE-ONLY RECEIVED 3CC. During the same period patient was treated with ASACOL, NIFEREX. Patient recovered.
