Desogestrel side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Dec 12, 2005. Female patient, 23 years of age, was diagnosed with dysmenorrhoea and was treated with Desogestrel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, haemorrhagic diathesis, hellp syndrome, hepatic failure, hepatic haematoma, hepatic haemorrhage, jaundice What is  jaundice. Desogestrel dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KAKKON. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hellp syndrome, hepatic failure, hepatic haematoma, hepatic haemorrhage, hypertension, loss of consciousness, lymphadenopathy. Desogestrel dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KAKKON. Patient recovered.
