Desmopressin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from INDIA on Sept 26, 2008. Female patient, child 5 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes insipidus
and was treated with Desmopressin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, budd-chiari syndrome, hepatic enzyme increased, hepatosplenomegaly, renal failure, vena cava thrombosis.
