Desipramine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Feb 23, 2005. Male patient, child 6 years of age, weighting 98.00 lb, was diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and was treated with Desipramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, psychotic disorder , self injurious behaviour. Desipramine dosage: 5 MG ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 45 years of age, was diagnosed with anxiety , depression  and was treated with Desipramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, agitation, flight of ideas, hallucination, visual, homicidal ideation, irritability, mania, panic attack. Desipramine dosage: DOSE: 50MG AND 75MG ON ALTERNATIVE DAYS. During the same period patient was treated with VENLAFAXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
