Desferrioxamine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Jan 20, 2006. Male patient was diagnosed with blood iron increased and was treated with Desferrioxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiomyopathy What is  cardiomyopathy, ejection fraction decreased, splenectomy, ventricular hypertrophy, ventricular internal diameter abnormal. Desferrioxamine dosage: 36 MG/KG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with DESFERRIOXAMINE MESYLATE, BLOOD AND RELATED PRODUCTS. Patient recovered.
