Desferrioxamine side effect was reported by a Physician from TURKEY on Nov 10, 2005. Female patient was diagnosed with blood iron increased and was treated with Desferrioxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, anorexia, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood potassium increased, blood sodium decreased, blood urea increased, cardiac failure, cardiomegaly, fatigue. Desferrioxamine dosage: 15 MG/KG/H. During the same period patient was treated with DESFERRIOXAMINE MESYLATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
