Desferal side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 09, 2005. Female patient, 29 years of age, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with blood iron increased and was treated with Desferal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cellulitis , diarrhoea, injection site erythema, injection site pain, injection site warmth, pyrexia, sickle cell anaemia with crisis. Desferal dosage: 2200 MG, QD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Desferal side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 09, 2008. Female patient, 26 years of age, weighting 124.3 lb, was diagnosed with blood iron increased, sickle cell anaemia, asthma  and was treated with Desferal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: nausea , sickle cell anaemia with crisis. Desferal dosage: 1125 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with METHADONE HYDROCHLORIDE, DILAUDID, ALBUTEROL, FOLIC ACID, BENADRYL, TYLENOL, CLINDAMYCIN, LACTULOSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
