Desferal side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Mar 13, 2008. Female patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with haemosiderosis and was treated with Desferal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, blood creatinine increased, mechanical ventilation, oxygen saturation decreased, renal failure. Desferal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with IBUPROFEN, KATADOLON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
