Desferal Side Effects Report #5914879-5
Desferal side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from BRAZIL on Oct 02, 2008. Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 180.8 lb, was diagnosed with serum ferritin increased, thalassaemia beta, pain , nausea  and was treated with Desferal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypophagia, injection site pain, injection site swelling, malaise, mobility decreased, nausea , serum ferritin increased. Desferal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FOLIC ACID, PREDNISONE, PLASIL, ORAL ANTIDIABETICS. Patient recovered.
