Desferal Side Effects Report #5044973-5
Desferal side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Apr 10, 2006. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with haemochromatosis, neutropenia and was treated with Desferal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspergillosis, candida sepsis, chills, febrile bone marrow aplasia, haemoglobin decreased, herpes zoster, histiocytosis haematophagic, pancytopenia, platelet count decreased. Desferal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NEORECORMON, GRANOCYTE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
