Desferal Side Effects Report #6047129-2
Desferal side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 13, 2009. Male patient was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Desferal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, back pain , blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood glucose increased, chest pain , cholelithiasis, debridement, dermal cyst. Desferal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EXJADE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Desferal dosage: 9000 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with DEFERIPRONE, TYLENOL W, CALCIUM CARBONATE, DIGOXIN, ORTHO TRI, ZOFRAN, ZANTAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Desferal dosage: 2200 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with DESFERAL T, DESFERAL T, DESFERAL T, DESFERAL T, NEXIUM, ZOFRAN, EXJADE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
