Male patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with iron overload, refractory anaemia and was treated with Desferal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain
, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased. Desferal dosage: unknown. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, abdominal wall haemorrhage, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood amylase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood creatinine increased, blood glucose increased. Desferal dosage: 1000 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with FAMOTIDINE, GLYCERON, URSO, LEVOTHYROXINE, CRAVIT, DIFLUCAN, PREDONINE.
