Desferal Side Effects Report #5943575-3
Desferal side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 04, 2008. Male patient, 61 years of age, weighting 85.98 lb, was diagnosed with iron overload, haemosiderosis, gastric ulcer, liver disorder, hypothyroidism, bacterial infection
, graft versus host disease and was treated with Desferal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, abdominal wall haemorrhage, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood amylase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood creatinine increased, blood glucose increased. Desferal dosage: 1000 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with FAMOTIDINE, GLYCERON, URSO, LEVOTHYROXINE, CRAVIT, DIFLUCAN, PREDONINE.
