Female patient, child 3 years of age, was diagnosed with myoclonic epilepsy, petit mal epilepsy and was treated with Depakene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ammonia decreased, ammonia increased, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hepatic failure, loss of consciousness, vomiting. Depakene dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
