Defibrotide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 18, 2005. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 264.6 lb, was diagnosed with venoocclusive disease and was treated with Defibrotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypertension, myocardial infarction, tachycardia. Defibrotide dosage: 800 MG Q 6 HRS. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROMORPHONE, BENADRYL, DIPHENHYDRAMINE, TRIAMCINOLONE, DRY SKIN BATH OIL, DILAUDID, INSULIN, CHLORHEXIDINE. Patient recovered.
