Deferoxamine Side Effects Report #6055912-2
Deferoxamine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from CANADA on Jan 19, 2009. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with iron overload and was treated with Deferoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, renal injury. Deferoxamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSPORINE. Patient recovered.

Deferoxamine dosage: 2.0G DILUTED IN 100ML OF NORMAL SALINE/INFUSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
