Deferoxamine Side Effects Report #4700171-3
Deferoxamine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on June 15, 2005. Female patient, 28 years of age, was diagnosed with congestive cardiomyopathy and was treated with Deferoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: caesarean section, congestive cardiomyopathy, dilatation ventricular, dyspnoea, ejection fraction decreased, electrocardiogram t wave inversion, fatigue, gallop rhythm present. Deferoxamine dosage: 50 MG/KG 5 DAYS/WEEK. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN. Patient recovered.
