Deferoxamine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from KOREA, REPUBLIC OF on Jan 06, 2009. Female patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with iron deficiency and was treated with Deferoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacterial sepsis, blister, body temperature increased, c-reactive protein increased, fluid retention, hypertonia, necrotising fasciitis, oedema peripheral, red blood cell sedimentation rate increased. Deferoxamine dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Deferoxamine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from TURKEY on Mar 19, 2008. Male patient, child 7 years of age, was treated with Deferoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthritis What is  arthritis, atelectasis, blood urine present, c-reactive protein increased, erythema, haemoglobin decreased, henoch-schonlein purpura, hypertension, intussusception. Deferoxamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DEFEROXAMINE MESYLATE, PREDNISOLONE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, RED BLOOD CELLS, DEFERIPRONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
