Deferasirox Side Effects Report #5828983-3
Deferasirox side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on July 23, 2008. Female patient, 43 years of age, was diagnosed with iron overload, sickle cell anaemia and was treated with Deferasirox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradyphrenia, hypocalcaemia, paraesthesia. Deferasirox dosage: 1500 MG, DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ATENOLOL, AMLODIPINE, LISINOPRIL, LANTHANUM CARBONATE, ALLOPURINOL, FOLIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ATENOLOL, AMLODIPINE, LISINOPRIL, LANTHANUM CARBONATE, ALLOPURINOL, FOLIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Deferasirox side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Feb 27, 2008. Female patient, weighting 125.0 lb, was diagnosed with iron overload and was treated with Deferasirox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: calcium ionised decreased, hypocalcaemia, serum ferritin decreased. Deferasirox dosage: 1500 MG PER DAY PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
