Deferasirox side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on June 11, 2008. Female patient, 18 years of age, was treated with Deferasirox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disease progression, haemorrhage, hepatectomy, hepatic necrosis, multi-organ failure, peritonitis, thoracotomy. Deferasirox dosage: 25 MG/KG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with AMPHOTERICIN B, CASPOFUNGIN. Patient died.
