Decitabine side effect was reported by a Physician from VENEZUELA on Feb 07, 2008. Female patient, 74 years of age, weighting 103.6 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Decitabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemoglobin decreased, necrotising fasciitis, platelet count decreased, red blood cell count decreased, skin infection, white blood cell count decreased. Decitabine dosage: 15 MG/M2, 2 IN 1 DAY, INTRAVENOUS; 20 MG/M2, INTRAVENOUS. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
