Decitabine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 20, 2007. Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 196.0 lb, was diagnosed with myelofibrosis and was treated with Decitabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, febrile neutropenia, pancytopenia. Decitabine dosage: 264 MG, IN 1 TOTAL, SUBCUTANEOUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: febrile neutropenia, fungal sepsis, mucormycosis, pancytopenia, rectal abscess, skin lesion, skin necrosis, skin ulcer. Decitabine dosage: 15 MG/M2, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with AMIKACIN, UNASYN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/14/2008.

Patient died on 12/28/2007.
