Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 121.3 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Decitabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemoglobin decreased, leukopenia, parotitis. Decitabine dosage: 33 MG, 1 IN 1 DAY, INTRAVENOUS; 25 MG, 1 IN 1 DAY, INTRAVENOUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
