Male patient, 45 years of age, weighting 158.5 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Daunorubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: febrile neutropenia, fungal infection , multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, zygomycosis. Daunorubicin dosage: 90 MG/M2 Q DAY X 3 DAYS IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, CIPROFLOXACIN, PENICILLIN VK, AMLODIPINE, ACYCLOVIR, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient died on 05/10/2007.

Patient died.
