Daunorubicin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 19, 2005. Female patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with agranulocytosis and was treated with Daunorubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, haemodialysis, multi-organ failure, pulmonary oedema, respiratory distress. Daunorubicin dosage: 60 MG, IV. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, METHOTREXATE, VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, TOBRAMYCIN, TEICOPLANIN, CEFTRIAXONE, TRETINOIN, ALLOPURINOL. Patient died.
