Daunomycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 13, 2005. Male patient, weighting 149.3 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Daunomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: febrile neutropenia, fungal rash, jaundice , laboratory test abnormal, mental status changes, pharyngolaryngeal pain, respiratory disorder, systemic mycosis. Daunomycin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 177.5 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Daunomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral ischaemia, fungal infection , hypoaesthesia, ischaemic stroke, laboratory test abnormal, meningioma, pancreatitis, paraesthesia, sensory loss. Daunomycin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE SULPHATE, PREDNISONE, ELSPAR, METHOTREXATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
